Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Mining and Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP), which rose 34.81% or 47 points to trade at 182 at the close. Meanwhile, Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) added 20.93% or 36 points to end at 208 and Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) was up 16.59% or 170 points to 1195 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS), which fell 19.63% or 86 points to trade at 352 at the close. Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ARTO) declined 14.75% or 27 points to end at 156 and Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) was down 11.70% or 20 points to 151.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 199 to 134 and 118 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) rose to 52-week highs; up 34.81% or 47 to 182. Shares in Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk PT (JK:MKNT) rose to all time highs; rising 16.59% or 170 to 1195.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.15% or 0.07 to $47.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.28% or 0.14 to hit $50.59 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.83% or 10.77 to trade at $1279.63 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.13% to 13360.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.13% to 10509.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 93.63.
