Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Mining, Financials and Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH), which rose 24.60% or 155 points to trade at 785 at the close. Meanwhile, Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI) added 24.40% or 102 points to end at 520 and Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF) was up 13.07% or 46 points to 398 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which fell 25.00% or 225.00 points to trade at 675.00 at the close. Perdana Bangun Pusaka Tbk PT (JK:KONI) declined 25.00% or 180 points to end at 540 and Alfa Energi Investama Tbk PT (JK:FIRE) was down 15.34% or 260 points to 1435.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 182 to 162 and 120 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.31% or 0.71 to $55.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.21% or 0.74 to hit $61.68 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 10.06 to trade at $1280.56 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.13% to 13580.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.28% to 10420.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 94.53.
