Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Trade and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which rose 25.00% or 125 points to trade at 625 at the close. Meanwhile, Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (JK:PJAA) added 24.01% or 335 points to end at 1730 and Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk (JK:POLY) was up 23.38% or 18 points to 95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which fell 34.97% or 50.00 points to trade at 93.00 at the close. Tri Banyan Tirta Tbk (JK:ALTO) declined 21.40% or 104 points to end at 382 and Inter-Delta Tbk (JK:INTD) was down 17.78% or 120.00 points to 555.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 197 to 167 and 117 ended unchanged.
Shares in Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU) rose to 52-week highs; up 25.00% or 125 to 625. Shares in Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) fell to all time lows; losing 34.97% or 50.00 to 93.00. Shares in Asia Pacific Fibers Tbk (JK:POLY) rose to 52-week highs; up 23.38% or 18 to 95.
Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.05% or 0.03 to $65.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.17% or 0.12 to hit $69.53 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.20 to trade at $1348.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.43% to 13455.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.80% to 10681.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 88.74.
