Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT), which rose 24.75% or 125 points to trade at 630 at the close. Meanwhile, Rig Tenders Tbk (JK:RIGS) added 17.95% or 35 points to end at 230 and Semen Baturaja Persero Tbk (JK:SMBR) was up 16.72% or 530 points to 3700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN), which fell 27.13% or 51.00 points to trade at 137.00 at the close. Betonjaya Manunggal Tbk (JK:BTON) declined 25.00% or 52 points to end at 156 and Anabatic Technologies Tbk PT (JK:ATIC) was down 14.29% or 120 points to 720.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 203 to 158 and 122 ended unchanged.
Shares in Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 27.13% or 51.00 to 137.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 0.59% or 0.38 to $64.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.63% or 0.43 to hit $68.09 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.50% or 6.70 to trade at $1342.10 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.07% to 13380.8, while AUD/IDR rose 0.07% to 10871.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 88.77.
