Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Agriculture, Mining and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.44%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Kedaung Indah Can Tbk (JK:KICI), which rose 31.25% or 40 points to trade at 168 at the close. Meanwhile, Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) added 24.79% or 295 points to end at 1485 and Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) was up 22.22% or 180.00 points to 990.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS), which fell 10.00% or 8 points to trade at 72 at the close. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS) declined 9.86% or 42 points to end at 384 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) was down 9.77% or 65 points to 600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 211 to 104 and 83 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kedaung Indah Can Tbk (JK:KICI) rose to 52-week highs; up 31.25% or 40 to 168.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.65% or 0.30 to $46.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.94% or 0.46 to hit $48.27 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.06% or 0.85 to trade at $1317.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13287.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.01% to 9994.15.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 96.01.
