Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Consumer Industry, Mining and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (JK:PJAA), which rose 24.34% or 275 points to trade at 1405 at the close. Meanwhile, Arkadia Digital Media Tbk PT (JK:DIGI) added 19.75% or 160 points to end at 970 and Arthavest Tbk (JK:ARTA) was up 18.75% or 30 points to 190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI), which fell 16.67% or 140 points to trade at 700 at the close. Sekar Bumi Tbk (JK:SKBM) declined 15.38% or 100 points to end at 550 and Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) was down 13.04% or 75.00 points to 500.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 214 to 170 and 123 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.11% or 0.09 to hit $84.91 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.60 to trade at $1189.90 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.06% to 15200.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.43% to 10766.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.06% at 95.42.
