Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.40% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT), which rose 26.58% or 42.00 points to trade at 200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Modern Internasional Tbk (JK:MDRN) added 25.00% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Mnc Sky Vision Tbk (JK:MSKY) was up 22.03% or 13.00 points to 72.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI), which fell 50.00% or 1.00 points to trade at 1.00 at the close. Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS) declined 25.00% or 1.00 points to end at 3.00 and Graha Andrasentra Propertindo Tbk PT (JK:JGLE) was down 16.67% or 1.00 points to 5.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 288 to 286 and 257 ended unchanged.
Shares in Express Transindo Utama Tbk (JK:TAXI) fell to all time lows; down 50.00% or 1.00 to 1.00. Shares in Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS) fell to all time lows; losing 25.00% or 1.00 to 3.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.43% or 0.35 to $81.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.38% or 0.33 to hit $85.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 3.25 to trade at $2,366.75 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.01% to 16,283.10, while AUD/IDR rose 0.03% to 10,972.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 104.75.
