Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Financials, Infrastructure and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.32%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Mnc Sky Vision Tbk (JK:MSKY), which rose 25.00% or 200 points to trade at 1000 at the close. Meanwhile, Ratu Prabu Energi Tbk (JK:ARTI) added 14.55% or 8 points to end at 63 and Pacific Strategic Financial (JK:APIC) was up 14.42% or 30 points to 238 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which fell 9.96% or 140 points to trade at 1265 at the close. Fortune Mate Indonesia Tbk (JK:FMII) declined 9.90% or 51 points to end at 464 and Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) was down 9.84% or 6 points to 55.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 165 to 142 and 97 ended unchanged.
Shares in Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS) fell to 3-years lows; falling 9.84% or 6 to 55.
Crude oil for December delivery was up 0.45% or 0.22 to $49.40 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.72% or 0.36 to hit $50.34 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 3.95 to trade at $1270.55 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.05% to 13036.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.52% to 9911.65.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 98.59.
