Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Financials, Agriculture and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.32% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were DCI Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:DCII), which rose 9,864.29% or 41,430.00 points to trade at 41,850.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Indoritel Makmur Internasional (JK:DNET) added 1,940.00% or 4,850.00 points to end at 5,100.00 and Sariguna Primatirta PT (JK:CLEO) was up 886.96% or 1,020.00 points to 1,135.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF), which fell 99.40% or 8,449.00 points to trade at 51.00 at the close. Citatah Tbk (JK:CTTH) declined 98.86% or 2,348.00 points to end at 27.00 and Asuransi Kresna Mitra Tbk PT (JK:ASMI) was down 97.78% or 264.00 points to 6.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 384 to 294 and 160 ended unchanged.
Shares in Asuransi Kresna Mitra Tbk PT (JK:ASMI) fell to all time lows; down 97.78% or 264.00 to 6.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.07% or 0.05 to $73.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.03% or 0.02 to hit $77.22 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 3.25 to trade at $2,547.35 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.42% to 15,506.65, while AUD/IDR rose 0.27% to 10,446.13.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 101.39.
