Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Mining, Miscellaneous Industry and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE), which rose 34.94% or 29.00 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Lotte Chemical Titan Tbk (JK:FPNI) added 25.00% or 62 points to end at 310 and Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) was up 24.87% or 235 points to 1180 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI), which fell 21.00% or 126 points to trade at 474 at the close. Nusantara Inti Corpora Tbk (JK:UNIT) declined 18.79% or 62.00 points to end at 268.00 and Ever Shine Textile Industry (JK:ESTI) was down 13.77% or 23 points to 144.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 169 to 157 and 102 ended unchanged.
Shares in Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 34.94% or 29.00 to 112.00. Shares in Sanurhasta Mitra PT (JK:MINA) rose to all time highs; up 24.87% or 235 to 1180.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.30% or 0.14 to $46.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.45 to trade at $1264.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13294.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.06% to 10036.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 97.03.
