Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.27% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Perma Plasindo Tbk PT (JK:BINO), which rose 32.06% or 42.00 points to trade at 173.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Link Net Tbk (JK:LINK) added 25.00% or 300.00 points to end at 1,500.00 and Remala Abadi Tbk PT (JK:DATA) was up 24.90% or 305.00 points to 1,530.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which fell 16.58% or 165.00 points to trade at 830.00 at the close. Bumi Teknokultura Unggul Tbk (JK:BTEK) declined 16.67% or 1.00 points to end at 5.00 and Berkah Beton Sadaya Tbk PT (JK:BEBS) was down 14.29% or 1.00 points to 6.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 386 to 257 and 212 ended unchanged.
Shares in Remala Abadi Tbk PT (JK:DATA) rose to all time highs; rising 24.90% or 305.00 to 1,530.00.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.33% or 1.03 to $76.36 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.47% or 0.38 to hit $79.77 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.40% or 11.11 to trade at $2,737.59 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.73% to 16,350.40, while AUD/IDR fell 0.20% to 10,192.94.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.72% at 108.42.
