Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Consumer Industry and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.27% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Citra Putra Realty Tbk PT (JK:CLAY), which unchanged 0.00% or 0 points to trade at 476 at the close. Meanwhile, Onix Capital Tbk (JK:OCAP) added 24.53% or 52 points to end at 264 and Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) was up 21.18% or 180 points to 1030 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Renuka Coalindo Tbk (JK:SQMI), which fell 24.79% or 118 points to trade at 358 at the close. Indo Komoditi Korpora Tbk PT (JK:INCF) declined 19.51% or 64 points to end at 264 and Minna Padi Investama Tbk (JK:PADI) was down 17.39% or 160 points to 760.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 231 to 196 and 118 ended unchanged.
Shares in Citra Putra Realty Tbk PT (JK:CLAY) unchanged to all time highs; unchanged 0.00% or 0 to 476. Shares in Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) rose to 52-week highs; up 21.18% or 180 to 1030.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.30% or 0.70 to $53.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.32% or 0.83 to hit $61.91 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1283.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.04% to 14215.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.52% to 10126.06.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 95.993.
