Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Property and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Mitrabahtera Segara Sejati Tbk (JK:MBSS), which rose 25.00% or 145 points to trade at 725 at the close. Meanwhile, Tira Austenite Tbk (JK:TIRA) added 22.22% or 30.00 points to end at 165.00 and Petrosea Tbk (JK:PTRO) was up 15.67% or 235 points to 1735 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Argha Karya Prima Ind Tbk (JK:AKPI), which fell 24.75% or 245 points to trade at 745 at the close. Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) declined 22.33% or 96 points to end at 334 and Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT) was down 20.00% or 70.00 points to 280.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 201 to 155 and 139 ended unchanged.
Shares in Guna Timur Raya PT (JK:TRUK) fell to all time lows; falling 22.33% or 96 to 334.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.62% or 0.42 to $68.31 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.22% or 0.16 to hit $73.22 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.10 to trade at $1226.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.11% to 14513.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.13% to 10729.20.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 94.29.
