Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.23%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indoritel Makmur Internasional (JK:DNET), which rose 1,880.00% or 4,700.00 points to trade at 4,950.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Kentjana Tbk (JK:MKPI) added 1,178.57% or 24,750.00 points to end at 26,850.00 and Bank Bisnis Internasional Tbk (JK:BBSI) was up 739.58% or 3,550.00 points to 4,030.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Multipolar Tbk (JK:MLPL), which fell 99.48% or 10,445.00 points to trade at 55.00 at the close. Slj Global Tbk (JK:SULI) declined 98.94% or 8,905.00 points to end at 95.00 and Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (JK:TOTO) was down 98.45% or 14,078.00 points to 222.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 366 to 310 and 164 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.27% or 0.21 to $78.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.35% or 0.29 to hit $82.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 5.75 to trade at $2,404.85 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.11% to 16,230.20, while AUD/IDR fell 0.19% to 10,817.02.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 103.96.
