Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Mining, Agriculture and Property sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (JK:BRMS), which rose 21.57% or 11 points to trade at 62 at the close. Meanwhile, Magna Finance Tbk (JK:MGNA) added 15.63% or 10.00 points to end at 74.00 and Saraswati Griya Lestari Tbk (JK:HOTL) was up 14.94% or 23 points to 177 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which fell 10.00% or 120 points to trade at 1080 at the close. Wahana Pronatural (JK:WAPO) declined 8.70% or 6 points to end at 63 and Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama (JK:AHAP) was down 8.43% or 15 points to 163.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 185 to 115 and 90 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saraswati Griya Lestari Tbk (JK:HOTL) rose to 52-week highs; rising 14.94% or 23 to 177.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 2.70% or 0.97 to $36.86 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.06% or 0.78 to hit $38.65 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.24% or 2.90 to trade at $1226.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.04% to 13255.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.21% to 9982.15.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 94.89.
