Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Property and Infrastructure sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.19%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tanah Laut Tbk (JK:INDX), which rose 22.69% or 27 points to trade at 146 at the close. Meanwhile, Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) added 21.05% or 40 points to end at 230 and Panasia Indo Resources Tbk (JK:HDTX) was up 17.28% or 66 points to 448 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG), which fell 24.78% or 56 points to trade at 170 at the close. Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI) declined 23.40% or 124 points to end at 406 and Radana Bhaskara Finance Tbk (JK:HDFA) was down 20.45% or 45 points to 175.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 171 to 163 and 119 ended unchanged.
Shares in Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG) fell to 52-week lows; down 24.78% or 56 to 170.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.10% or 0.05 to $49.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.43% or 0.22 to hit $51.71 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.75 to trade at $1259.25 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 13329.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.48% to 10585.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 93.56.
