Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Trade sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.19% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which rose 34.48% or 50 points to trade at 195 at the close. Meanwhile, Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) added 26.47% or 36.00 points to end at 172.00 and Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) was up 25.00% or 90.00 points to 450.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which fell 17.18% or 28 points to trade at 135 at the close. Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) declined 16.00% or 12 points to end at 63 and Cikarang Listrindo Tbk PT (JK:POWR) was down 15.19% or 215 points to 1200.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 160 to 152 and 131 ended unchanged.
Shares in Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX) rose to 3-years highs; gaining 34.48% or 50 to 195. Shares in Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) rose to all time highs; up 25.00% or 90.00 to 450.00.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.59% or 0.25 to $42.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.83% or 0.37 to hit $45.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.57% or 7.15 to trade at $1252.95 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.02% to 13323.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.18% to 10048.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 97.22.
