Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Trade and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Sat Nusapersada Tbk (JK:PTSN), which rose 34.46% or 51 points to trade at 199 at the close. Meanwhile, Alumindo Light Metal Industry (JK:ALMI) added 24.77% or 54 points to end at 272 and Rimau Multi Putra Pratama (JK:CMPP) was up 24.49% or 180 points to 915 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Baramulti Suksessarana Tbk (JK:BSSR), which fell 16.67% or 390 points to trade at 1950 at the close. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 10.05% or 44 points to end at 394 and Lionmesh Prima Tbk (JK:LMSH) was down 9.09% or 65 points to 650.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 165 to 155 and 126 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.35% or 0.17 to $48.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.46% or 0.25 to hit $54.45 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.26 to trade at $1344.26 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.26% to 13296.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.18% to 10648.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 91.86.
