Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Mining and Consumer Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.10%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Tunas Alfin Tbk (JK:TALF), which rose 25.00% or 70 points to trade at 350 at the close. Meanwhile, Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) added 21.62% or 16 points to end at 90 and Perdana Gapura Prima Tbk (JK:GPRA) was up 20.83% or 25 points to 145 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Victoria Insurance Tbk PT (JK:VINS), which fell 17.56% or 46 points to trade at 216 at the close. Unggul Indah Cahaya Tbk (JK:UNIC) declined 16.67% or 900.00 points to end at 4500.00 and Duta Anggada Realty Tbk (JK:DART) was down 15.08% or 60 points to 338.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 186 to 128 and 122 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.08% or 0.04 to $47.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $49.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.25% or 3.23 to trade at $1283.43 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13283.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.18% to 9910.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 96.72.
