Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Mining and Basic Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index rose 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Energi Mega Persada Tbk (JK:ENRG), which rose 34.92% or 44 points to trade at 170 at the close. Meanwhile, Benakat Integra Tbk (JK:BIPI) added 25.00% or 13 points to end at 65 and Wicaksana Overseas International (JK:WICO) was up 22.22% or 120 points to 660 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arita Prima Indonesia Tbk (JK:APII), which fell 9.62% or 20 points to trade at 188 at the close. Asuransi Dayin Mitra Tbk (JK:ASDM) declined 8.18% or 90 points to end at 1010 and Indonesia Pondasi Raya Tbk PT (JK:IDPR) was down 8.13% or 65 points to 735.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 186 to 168 and 122 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.13% or 0.09 to $68.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.87% or 0.64 to hit $74.08 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 4.90 to trade at $1230.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.69% to 14447.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.11% to 10793.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 94.25.
