Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Mining, Trade and Agriculture sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS), which rose 33.33% or 18 points to trade at 72 at the close. Meanwhile, Inti Bangun Sejahtera Tbk (JK:IBST) added 19.66% or 345 points to end at 2100 and Eratex Djaja Tbk (JK:ERTX) was up 15.04% or 20 points to 153 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which fell 21.88% or 56 points to trade at 200 at the close. Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) declined 16.17% or 27 points to end at 140 and Jakarta Kyoei Steel Works Tbk (JK:JKSW) was down 12.79% or 11 points to 75.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 151 to 143 and 135 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.56% or 0.26 to $46.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.62% or 0.30 to hit $48.72 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.14% or 1.66 to trade at $1218.96 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.03% to 13336.2, while AUD/IDR rose 0.14% to 10332.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.10% at 95.46.
