Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Property and Miscellaneous Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Indomobil Multi Jasa Tbk (JK:IMJS), which rose 24.65% or 89 points to trade at 450 at the close. Meanwhile, Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) added 22.22% or 200.00 points to end at 1100.00 and Surya Esa Perkasa Tbk (JK:ESSA) was up 19.35% or 355 points to 2190 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (JK:SRAJ), which fell 14.80% or 37 points to trade at 250 at the close. Bintang Mitra Semestaraya Tbk (JK:BMSR) declined 13.89% or 25.00 points to end at 155.00 and Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (JK:MEDC) was down 10.20% or 250 points to 2200.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 167 to 142 and 40 ended unchanged.
Shares in Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (JK:MEDC) fell to 52-week lows; falling 10.20% or 250 to 2200.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.67% or 0.28 to $41.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.32% or 0.16 to hit $49.47 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.22% or 2.40 to trade at $1118.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.24% to 13742.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.03% to 10107.00.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 96.33.
