Investing.com - U.S. stocks were higher early Monday ahead of a speech by Fed chair Janet Yellen .
The DJI was up 0.17% at 10:00 ET at over 100 points shy of the 20,000 mark.
The S&P 500 added 0.30%.The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite was up 0.43%.
Investors will look to Yellen for further clues to future Fed hikes after last week's hike.
The dollar index nudged lower but was well supported by bets of future hikes.
Oil fell back after gains earlier in the session.
U.S. Treasury yields were lower. The 10-year was at 2.55%.
