Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Basic Metals and Wood, Paper & Printing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.08%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Migros Ticaret AS (IS:MGROS), which rose 5.91% or 1.66 points to trade at 29.76 at the close. Meanwhile, Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS) added 5.89% or 2.34 points to end at 42.10 and Ege Endustri ve Ticaret AS (IS:EGEEN) was up 4.38% or 12.70 points to 302.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICBC Turkey Bank AS (IS:ICBCT), which fell 8.47% or 0.770 points to trade at 8.320 at the close. Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) declined 6.45% or 0.040 points to end at 0.580 and TAV Havalimanlari Holding (IS:TAVHL) was down 6.41% or 1.26 points to 18.41.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 246 to 107 and 48 ended unchanged.
Shares in Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.89% or 2.34 to 42.10.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.42% or 5.39 to $1279.59 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.42% or 0.24 to hit $56.98 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $63.53 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.32% to 3.8765, while EUR/TRY rose 0.30% to 4.5223.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.41.
