Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 1.68%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Cemas Dokum Sanayi AS (IS:CEMAS), which rose 19.72% or 0.140 points to trade at 0.850 at the close. Meanwhile, Turkiye Halk Bankasi (IS:HALKB) added 4.75% or 0.27 points to end at 5.95 and Sekerbank TAS (IS:SKBNK) was up 4.35% or 0.040 points to 0.960 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anadolu Efes Biracilik ve Malt Sanayi AS (IS:AEFES), which fell 4.22% or 1.08 points to trade at 24.50 at the close. Parsan Makina Parcalari Sanayi AS (IS:PARSN) declined 3.28% or 0.470 points to end at 13.860 and MLP Saglik Hizmetleri AS (IS:MPARK) was down 2.16% or 0.30 points to 13.57.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 290 to 78 and 40 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.61% or 9.30 to $1538.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.47% or 0.26 to hit $54.84 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 1.03% or 0.61 to trade at $58.64 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.19% to 5.8186, while EUR/TRY fell 0.42% to 6.3820.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 98.977.
