Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Transport and Information Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 1.18%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS), which rose 7.51% or 3.16 points to trade at 45.26 at the close. Meanwhile, Turk Hava Yollari AO (IS:THYAO) added 6.64% or 0.650 points to end at 10.440 and Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:PGSUS) was up 5.48% or 1.440 points to 27.720 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICBC Turkey Bank AS (IS:ICBCT), which fell 19.95% or 1.660 points to trade at 6.660 at the close. Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS) declined 3.45% or 0.020 points to end at 0.560 and Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (IS:AKSEN) was down 3.38% or 0.130 points to 3.720.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 195 to 158 and 48 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.05% or 0.58 to $1279.48 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 2.45% or 1.39 to hit $55.37 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract fell 2.50% or 1.58 to trade at $61.58 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.81% to 3.9021, while EUR/TRY rose 1.57% to 4.5880.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 93.99.
