Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Telecoms, Non-Metal Mineral Products and Basic Metals sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.15% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Cw Enerji Muhendislik Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:CWENE), which rose 10.00% or 20.80 points to trade at 228.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Agrotech Yuksek Teknoloji ve Yatirim AS (IS:AGROT) added 10.00% or 1.81 points to end at 19.91 and Arcelik AS (IS:ARCLK) was up 7.23% or 12.00 points to 178.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Is Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS (IS:ISMEN), which fell 4.76% or 2.00 points to trade at 40.00 at the close. Qua Granite Hayal Yapi ve Urunleri Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:QUAGR) declined 4.65% or 0.16 points to end at 3.28 and Kontrolmatik Teknoloji Enerji ve Mu (IS:KONTR) was down 4.22% or 2.35 points to 53.40.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 303 to 252 and 15 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.53% or 12.75 to $2,386.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September fell 0.53% or 0.42 to hit $78.22 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.48% or 0.40 to trade at $82.23 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.33% to 32.91, while EUR/TRY fell 0.39% to 35.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.10.
