Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Non-Metal Mineral Products, Technology and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Kaleseramik Canakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi AS (IS:KLSER), which rose 10.00% or 4.52 points to trade at 49.74 at the close. Meanwhile, Agrotech Yuksek Teknoloji ve Yatirim AS (IS:AGROT) added 9.99% or 1.36 points to end at 14.98 and Peker Gayrimenkul Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:PEKGY) was up 9.94% or 0.78 points to 8.63 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Is Yatirim Menkul Degerler AS (IS:ISMEN), which fell 3.52% or 1.42 points to trade at 38.88 at the close. Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS (IS:TOASO) declined 3.44% or 11.50 points to end at 322.50 and Akfen Yenilenebilir Enerji AS (IS:AKFYE) was down 3.39% or 0.90 points to 25.62.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 296 to 260 and 14 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.96% or 22.95 to $2,374.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.89% or 0.74 to hit $82.42 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 0.73% or 0.63 to trade at $85.91 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.25% to 32.72, while EUR/TRY rose 0.48% to 35.48.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.05% at 104.60.
