Investing.com – Russia stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Mining and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Moscow, the MOEX Russia gained 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the MOEX Russia were Tatneft-3 (MCX:TATN), which rose 3.50% or 27.50 points to trade at 813.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Surgut-pref (MCX:SNGS_p) added 3.45% or 1.285 points to end at 38.500 and NK RussNeft PAO (MCX:RNFT) was up 2.78% or 16.4 points to 606.2 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were RusHydro JSC (MCX:HYDR), which fell 2.35% or 0.0146 points to trade at 0.6057 at the close. Sberbank Rossii OAO Pref (MCX:SBER_p) declined 2.25% or 3.41 points to end at 148.36 and Sberbank Rossii PAO (MCX:SBER) was down 2.11% or 3.69 points to 171.21.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Moscow Stock Exchange by 128 to 88 and 14 ended unchanged.

Shares in Surgut-pref (MCX:SNGS_p) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.45% or 1.285 to 38.500. Shares in Sberbank Rossii OAO Pref (MCX:SBER_p) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.25% or 3.41 to 148.36. Shares in Sberbank Rossii PAO (MCX:SBER) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.11% or 3.69 to 171.21.
The Russian VIX, which measures the implied volatility of MOEX Russia options, was down 1.43% to 30.380 a new 3-months high.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.07% or 0.80 to $1201.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 0.25% or 0.17 to hit $67.58 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 0.44% or 0.34 to trade at $77.17 a barrel.
USD/RUB was up 0.81% to 70.4697, while EUR/RUB rose 1.25% to 81.8140.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 95.09.
