Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Financials and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 2.15%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which rose 22.22% or 20 points to trade at 110 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS) added 21.84% or 19.00 points to end at 106.00 and Champion Pacific Indonesia Tbk (JK:IGAR) was up 15.15% or 35 points to 266 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centratama Telekomunikasi Ind (JK:CENT), which fell 10.00% or 17 points to trade at 153 at the close. Keramika Indonesia Assosiasi (JK:KIAS) declined 9.89% or 9 points to end at 82 and Bali Towerindo Sentra Tbk (JK:BALI) was down 9.77% or 85.00 points to 785.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 222 to 95 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Keramika Indonesia Assosiasi (JK:KIAS) fell to 3-years lows; losing 9.89% or 9 to 82.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.69% or 0.83 to $48.37 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.00% or 1.08 to hit $53.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.91% or 10.30 to trade at $1142.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.25% to 14135.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.86% to 9907.15.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.41% at 95.57.
