Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Basic Industry and Manufacturing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index declined 0.38%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Buana Listya Tama Tbk PT (JK:BULL), which rose 21.57% or 22 points to trade at 124 at the close. Meanwhile, Polychem Indonesia Tbk (JK:ADMG) added 14.49% or 20 points to end at 158 and Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) was up 14.29% or 13 points to 104 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p), which fell 9.98% or 1400.00 points to trade at 12625.00 at the close. Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA) declined 9.66% or 14 points to end at 131 and Bank Pundi Indonesia Tbk (JK:BEKS) was down 9.65% or 11 points to 103.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 166 to 117 and 112 ended unchanged.
Shares in Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) fell to 52-week lows; down 9.98% or 1400.00 to 12625.00. Shares in Polychem Indonesia Tbk (JK:ADMG) rose to 52-week highs; up 14.49% or 20 to 158. Shares in Bank Artha Graha Internasional (JK:INPC) rose to 3-years highs; up 14.29% or 13 to 104.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.11% or 0.05 to $44.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.15% or 0.07 to hit $46.27 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.49% or 6.55 to trade at $1324.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.05% to 13110.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.18% to 9782.85.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.16.
