Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Basic Industry, Manufacturing and Consumer Industry sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index gained 0.68%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama Tbk PT (JK:AHAP), which rose 22.35% or 38 points to trade at 208 at the close. Meanwhile, Intan Baruprana Finance Tbk (JK:IBFN) added 21.05% or 16.00 points to end at 92.00 and Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) was up 18.88% or 74 points to 466 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Trust Finance Indonesia Tbk (JK:TRUS), which fell 20.00% or 60.00 points to trade at 240.00 at the close. Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 (JK:SDRA) declined 18.60% or 160 points to end at 700 and Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (JK:BINA) was down 14.56% or 115 points to 675.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 185 to 174 and 126 ended unchanged.
Shares in Prasidha Aneka Niaga Tbk (JK:PSDN) rose to all time highs; gaining 18.88% or 74 to 466.
Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.34% or 0.22 to $63.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.25% or 0.17 to hit $67.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1334.80 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.14% to 13681.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.09% to 10712.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 89.76.
