Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Miscellaneous Industry, Infrastructure and Manufacturing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index added 0.66% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Martina Berto Tbk (JK:MBTO), which rose 35.00% or 35 points to trade at 135 at the close. Meanwhile, Hotel Sahid Jaya Tbk (JK:SHID) added 25.00% or 310 points to end at 1550 and Sumber Energi Andalan Tbk PT (JK:ITMA) was up 24.41% or 155 points to 790 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI), which fell 24.71% or 126.00 points to trade at 384.00 at the close. Campina Ice Cream Industry Tbk PT (JK:CAMP) declined 20.20% or 300 points to end at 1185 and Wicaksana Overseas International (JK:WICO) was down 16.92% or 110 points to 540.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 221 to 148 and 119 ended unchanged.
Shares in Batavia Prosperindo Finance (JK:BPFI) fell to 3-years lows; losing 24.71% or 126.00 to 384.00. Shares in Hotel Sahid Jaya Tbk (JK:SHID) rose to all time highs; up 25.00% or 310 to 1550.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.50% or 0.30 to $60.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.47% or 0.31 to hit $66.47 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 2.00 to trade at $1299.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.17% to 13548.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 10560.00.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.30% at 92.06.
