Investing.com – Indonesia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Miscellaneous Industry, Manufacturing and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the IDX Composite Index lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the IDX Composite Index were Ancora Indonesia Resources Tbk (JK:OKAS), which rose 33.87% or 21 points to trade at 83 at the close. Meanwhile, Bank Ina Perdana Tbk (JK:BINA) added 25.00% or 220 points to end at 1100 and Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri Tbk (JK:NELY) was up 22.50% or 27 points to 147 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tembaga Mulia Semanan Tbk (JK:TBMS), which fell 22.74% or 315.00 points to trade at 1070.00 at the close. Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (JK:DPNS) declined 22.22% or 96 points to end at 336 and Sekar Laut Tbk (JK:SKLT) was down 18.18% or 200.00 points to 900.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Jakarta Stock Exchange by 155 to 147 and 125 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.41% or 0.19 to $46.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.57% or 0.28 to hit $49.12 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.19% or 2.37 to trade at $1239.53 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.09% to 13318.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.43% to 10582.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.11% at 94.55.
