Investing.com- U.S. markets recovered on Tuesday after heavy losses in the wake of Brexit.
The DJIA and the S&P 500 added 1.1% in early trade, while the Nasdaq composite was up 1.5%.
Banks, which suffered badly from Brexit, were in favor. Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) gained 2%.
The rally in oil futures boosted oil stocks. Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) was up 1.5%
The dollar remained lower despite an upward revision in U.S. Q1 GDP growth to 1.1%.
