The DJIA was up 0.09% at 10:45 ET, while the S&P 500 added 0.23%.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq composite was up 0.57%.
Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) was up 1.54% at $13.85 after Q2 earnings beat forecasts.
IBM (NYSE:IBM) was up 0.20% at $160.10 ahead of its earnings report.
