Investing.com – U.S. stocks opened at fresh highs as the global rally continued on stimulus hopes.
The S&P 500 hit a new record high of 2,152.10 points. It was trading up 0.6% at 10:00 ET.
The DJIA topped its closing record and was up 0.5%. The Nasdaq composite was up 0.7%.
Alcoa (NYSE:AA) was up 4% after kicking off Q2 earnings season after market closed Monday.
FOMC member James Bullard stuck to view of only one U.S. rate hike in foreseeable future.
