The S&P 500 futures fell 0.09%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures shed 0.04%.
The dollar index lower after Fed Chair Janet Yellen's cautious testimony to Congress.
Yellen told the Senate Thursday it would be a "challenge" for the U.S. economy to achieve annual 3% growth.
CPI, retail sales and consumer sentiment are due out during the session.
Oil remained on track for weekly gains ahead of the latest Baker Hughes rig count.
