Investing.com - U.S. stock index futures edge higher Friday as a series of risk events left the market unscathed.
The Dow futures up 0.17% at 06:45 ET. The DJI closed up 0.04% overnight.
The S&P 500 futures added 0.15%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 futures gained 0.10%.
Sacked FBI chief James Comey stopped short of accusing Trump of obstructing probe into alleged Russian meddling in U.S. presidential election.
That helped underpin the dollar index, which climbed back above 97.
The focus now turns to the FOMC meeting next week. The odds of a Fed June rate hike stand at 90%.
The dollar also benefited from losses by the pound after shock U.K. election result and the euroafter ECB policy meeting.
