Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Non-Metal Mineral Products, Holdings & Investments and Banking sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 1.03%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Park Elektrik Uretim Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:PRKME), which rose 8.67% or 0.320 points to trade at 4.010 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) added 5.19% or 0.360 points to end at 7.290 and Trabzonspor Sportif Yatirim ve Futbol Isletmeciligi Ticaret AS (IS:TSPOR) was up 3.60% or 0.100 points to 2.880 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:GLYHO), which fell 5.11% or 0.190 points to trade at 3.530 at the close. Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN) declined 5.00% or 0.64 points to end at 12.17 and Trakya Cam Sanayi AS (IS:TRKCM) was down 4.89% or 0.180 points to 3.500.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 266 to 100 and 40 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.84% or 11.15 to $1341.55 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 3.28% or 1.55 to hit $48.84 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 2.27% or 1.19 to trade at $53.53 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.01% to 3.4330, while EUR/TRY rose 0.13% to 4.0915.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 92.28.
