Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Tourism, Basic Metals and Sports sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.29%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Anadolu Cam Sanayi AS (IS:ANACM), which rose 5.76% or 0.170 points to trade at 3.120 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) added 5.63% or 0.360 points to end at 6.760 and Ipek Dogal Enerji Kaynaklari Arastirma ve Uretim AS (IS:IPEKE) was up 4.40% or 0.240 points to 5.690 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Galatasaray Sportif Sinai ve Ticari Yatirimlar AS (IS:GSRAY), which fell 2.29% or 0.15 points to trade at 6.41 at the close. Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari TAS (IS:EREGL) declined 1.58% or 0.160 points to end at 9.950 and Arcelik AS (IS:ARCLK) was down 1.56% or 0.34 points to 21.46.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 219 to 131 and 52 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for February delivery was down 0.17% or 2.20 to $1320.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in February rose 0.18% or 0.11 to hit $61.55 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract rose 0.10% or 0.07 to trade at $67.69 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.36% to 3.7489, while EUR/TRY fell 0.09% to 4.4908.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.28% at 92.01.
