Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Holdings & Investments, Metal Products & Machinery and Basic Metals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.03%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Gozde Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:GOZDE), which rose 7.60% or 0.190 points to trade at 2.690 at the close. Meanwhile, Mavi Giyim Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:MAVI) added 6.42% or 1.64 points to end at 27.20 and ICBC Turkey Bank AS (IS:ICBCT) was up 5.08% or 0.260 points to 5.380 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Soda Sanayi AS (IS:SODA), which fell 4.01% or 0.310 points to trade at 7.420 at the close. Tekfen Holding AS (IS:TKFEN) declined 3.56% or 0.73 points to end at 19.79 and Bizim Toptan Satis Magazalari AS (IS:BIZIM) was down 3.33% or 0.20 points to 5.80.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 190 to 147 and 70 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.26% or 3.10 to $1204.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.02% or 1.39 to hit $67.33 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 1.59% or 1.23 to trade at $76.04 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.15% to 6.5912, while EUR/TRY fell 0.12% to 7.6721.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.02% at 95.05.
