Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Electricity and Transport sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Dogan Sirketler Grubu Holding AS (IS:DOHOL), which rose 4.49% or 0.040 points to trade at 0.930 at the close. Meanwhile, Karsan Otomotiv Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:KARSN) added 4.32% or 0.060 points to end at 1.450 and Selcuk Ecza Deposu Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:SELEC) was up 3.85% or 0.130 points to 3.510 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Global Yatirim Holding AS (IS:GLYHO), which fell 3.39% or 0.130 points to trade at 3.710 at the close. DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO) declined 2.84% or 4.90 points to end at 167.70 and Polisan Holding AS (IS:POLHO) was down 2.83% or 0.230 points to 7.900.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 189 to 152 and 65 ended unchanged.
Shares in DO & Co AG (IS:DOCO) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.84% or 4.90 to 167.70.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.41% or 5.25 to $1277.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 0.18% or 0.09 to hit $50.37 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.36% or 0.20 to trade at $55.92 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.14% to 3.5719, while EUR/TRY rose 0.33% to 4.2008.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.13% at 93.36.
