Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate Investments sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 3.72%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL), which rose 10.00% or 1.96 points to trade at 21.56 at the close. Meanwhile, Kaleseramik Canakkale Kalebodur Seramik Sanayi AS (IS:KLSER) added 9.97% or 3.20 points to end at 35.30 and Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) was up 9.93% or 6.75 points to 74.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Girisim Elektrik Taahhut Ticaret & Sanayi AS (IS:GESAN), which fell 3.67% or 1.90 points to trade at 49.90 at the close. Papilon Savunma Guvenlik Sistemleri (IS:PAPIL) declined 1.89% or 1.15 points to end at 59.65 and Adel Kalemcilik Ticaret ve Sanayi AS (IS:ADEL) was down 1.21% or 0.44 points to 35.94.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 507 to 58 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) rose to all time highs; rising 9.93% or 6.75 to 74.70.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.62% or 16.45 to $2,668.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in January rose 1.53% or 1.05 to hit $69.80 a barrel, while the January Brent oil contract rose 1.43% or 1.04 to trade at $73.85 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.12% to 34.48, while EUR/TRY rose 0.12% to 36.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 106.52.
