Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Textile & Leather and Electricity sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS), which rose 6.47% or 1.100 points to trade at 18.100 at the close. Meanwhile, Zorlu Enerji Elektrik Uretim AS (IS:ZOREN) added 5.92% or 0.100 points to end at 1.790 and Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:PGSUS) was up 5.39% or 1.560 points to 30.480 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ford Otomotiv Sanayi AS (IS:FROTO), which fell 2.53% or 1.26 points to trade at 48.62 at the close. Koza Altin Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAL) declined 1.28% or 0.42 points to end at 32.50 and ODAS Elektrik Uretim Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:ODAS) was down 1.20% or 0.070 points to 5.740.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 246 to 111 and 49 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was down 0.98% or 13.19 to $1338.01 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.43% or 0.68 to hit $48.16 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract fell 0.02% or 0.01 to trade at $53.77 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.17% to 3.4060, while EUR/TRY fell 0.76% to 4.0752.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 91.84.
