Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Information Technology and Leasing & Factoring sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.86%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Deva Holding AS (IS:DEVA), which rose 4.65% or 0.180 points to trade at 4.050 at the close. Meanwhile, Aselsan Elektronik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:ASELS) added 4.14% or 0.92 points to end at 23.16 and Mavi Giyim Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:MAVI) was up 3.75% or 1.50 points to 41.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ihlas Holding AS (IS:IHLAS), which fell 7.50% or 0.030 points to trade at 0.370 at the close. Anel Elektrik Proje Taahhut ve Ticaret AS (IS:ANELE) declined 7.07% or 0.130 points to end at 1.710 and Albaraka Turk Katilim Bankasi AS (IS:ALBRK) was down 5.92% or 0.090 points to 1.430.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 192 to 160 and 53 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.47% or 6.05 to $1297.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April rose 0.67% or 0.38 to hit $57.17 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 0.32% or 0.21 to trade at $66.79 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.36% to 5.4643, while EUR/TRY rose 0.62% to 6.1615.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 97.018.
