Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Textile & Leather, Wholesale & Retail Trade and Transport sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.55% to hit a new all time high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Banvit Bandirma Vitaminli Yem Sanayi AS (IS:BANVT), which rose 19.94% or 3.980 points to trade at 23.940 at the close. Meanwhile, Yatas Yatak ve Yorgan Sanayi Ticaret AS (IS:YATAS) added 8.64% or 1.160 points to end at 14.590 and Gozde Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS (IS:GOZDE) was up 5.35% or 0.190 points to 3.740 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ulker Biskuvi Sanayi AS (IS:ULKER), which fell 2.16% or 0.46 points to trade at 20.88 at the close. Albaraka Turk Katilim Bankasi AS (IS:ALBRK) declined 2.05% or 0.030 points to end at 1.430 and SASA Polyester Sanayi AS (IS:SASA) was down 1.66% or 0.140 points to 8.280.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 183 to 146 and 73 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.34% or 4.42 to $1296.42 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 0.40% or 0.19 to hit $47.62 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 0.23% or 0.12 to trade at $52.16 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 1.01% to 3.4489, while EUR/TRY fell 0.36% to 4.0971.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.58% at 92.69.
