Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Leasing & Factoring, Non-Metal Mineral Products and Sports sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.40%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Cimsa Cimento Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:CIMSA), which rose 8.26% or 2.50 points to trade at 32.78 at the close. Meanwhile, Fenerbahce Futbol AS (IS:FENER) added 6.35% or 6.15 points to end at 103.00 and Astor Enerji AS (IS:ASTOR) was up 5.23% or 3.85 points to 77.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tofas Turk Otomobil Fabrikasi AS (IS:TOASO), which fell 5.90% or 11.90 points to trade at 189.90 at the close. Turk Traktor ve Ziraat Makineleri AS (IS:TTRAK) declined 2.17% or 16.00 points to end at 721.50 and Mavi Giyim Sanayi Ve Ticaret AS (IS:MAVI) was down 2.00% or 1.55 points to 76.10.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 363 to 183 and 33 ended unchanged.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.19% or 5.25 to $2,754.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 2.14% or 1.50 to hit $71.69 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.99% or 1.48 to trade at $75.86 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.21% to 34.29, while EUR/TRY rose 0.21% to 37.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 103.96.
