Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Basic Metals, Chemical, Petroleum & Plastic and Industrials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 added 0.28% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:PGSUS), which rose 5.04% or 2.420 points to trade at 50.400 at the close. Meanwhile, Indeks Bilgisayar Sistemleri Muhendislik Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:INDES) added 4.31% or 0.310 points to end at 7.510 and Dogtas Kelebek Mobilya Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS:DGKLB) was up 4.08% or 0.040 points to 1.020 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ittifak Holding AS (IS:ITTFH), which fell 4.62% or 0.300 points to trade at 6.200 at the close. Deva Holding AS (IS:DEVA) declined 2.40% or 0.140 points to end at 5.700 and Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (IS:NETAS) was down 2.21% or 0.16 points to 7.08.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 177 to 151 and 80 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for August delivery was down 0.16% or 2.35 to $1425.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 0.36% or 0.20 to hit $55.10 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract rose 0.13% or 0.08 to trade at $62.01 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.47% to 5.6399, while EUR/TRY fell 0.02% to 6.3280.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 96.833.
