Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Transport, Tourism and Food & Beverages sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Pegasus Hava Tasimaciligi AS (IS:PGSUS), which rose 14.84% or 7.080 points to trade at 54.800 at the close. Meanwhile, Aksa Enerji Uretim AS (IS:AKSEN) added 7.69% or 0.180 points to end at 2.520 and Koza Anadolu Metal Madencilik Isletmeleri AS (IS:KOZAA) was up 7.03% or 0.550 points to 8.370 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hektas Ticaret TAS (IS:HEKTS), which fell 9.14% or 1.390 points to trade at 13.810 at the close. Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (IS:NETAS) declined 7.45% or 0.54 points to end at 6.71 and Aksa Akrilik Kimya Sanayi AS (IS:AKSA) was down 6.86% or 0.63 points to 8.56.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 188 to 173 and 47 ended unchanged.

Gold Futures for December delivery was up 0.35% or 5.25 to $1514.75 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 3.46% or 1.82 to hit $54.36 a barrel, while the October Brent oil contract rose 2.09% or 1.20 to trade at $58.58 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.71% to 5.5079, while EUR/TRY rose 1.07% to 6.1791.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 97.197.
